We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Engineer with strong manual testing expertise and exposure to automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience testing web-based, high-performance applications and working in Agile product environments.
You will collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using standard bug tracking tools
- Validate database integrity using SQL queries
- Execute performance and load testing (stress, scalability, reliability testing)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Contribute to and maintain automation test scripts (Selenium or similar frameworks)
- Ensure high-quality GUI testing including applications involving HD video/high-resolution streaming over IP networks
- Analyze user stories and technical architecture to define effective test coverage
- Monitor test execution progress and ensure timely delivery
- Prepare test documentation and share reports with stakeholders
- Continuously improve QA processes and test efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA (Computer Science or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing of Web Applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
- Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Good to Have:
- Automation experience using Selenium WebDriver/Grid
- Experience with test frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
- Performance/Load testing using JMeter
- SQL knowledge for database validation
- Experience with Git and CI/CD environments
- Experience in a product-based or tech start-up environment
