Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in
Playwright and
API Testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications. The candidate will work closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality releases through robust automation frameworks and efficient testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright
- Perform API testing using standard tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure quality releases
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to closure
- Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and strategy discussions
- Improve automation coverage and maintain reusable test frameworks
- Optimize automation execution within CI/CD pipelines
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing for web applications
- Proven expertise in Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python)
- Solid experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools)
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to write clear and maintainable test cases and automation scripts
- Minimum 4 years of relevant automation testing experience
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing
