Automation Test Engineer

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web and mobile applications, along with hands-on experience in performance testing. The role involves developing and executing automated test scripts, designing and analyzing performance tests to ensure application scalability and stability, and ensuring overall application quality and reliability across releases.
Your impact:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Create and execute automated test cases based on business and technical requirements, ensuring adequate test coverage.
- Develop and run performance, load, and reliability tests to validate application scalability and stability.
- Analyse test results, identify defects or bottlenecks, update scripts as needed, and log issues in defect tracking tools.
- Integrate and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and early defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Configure and maintain test environments aligned with production settings.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and support resolution to improve overall application quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

You'll thrive in the role if:
Mandatory:
- 5+ years in QA Automation
- Strong in Selenium + Java (or equivalent tech stack)
- Framework design experience (Page Object Model / Hybrid / BDD)
- Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter or other equivalent performance testing tools.
- CI/CD integration (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
- API automation (Rest Assured/Postman)
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
Good to Have:
- Appium (Android/iOS)
- Cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
