Software Test Engineer

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Python and strong grasp of OOP principles.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
• Good understanding of Linux and shell Scripting.
• Good Exposure in Whitebox, Greybox and API testing.
• Good understanding in Automotive system ECUs and working concepts.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Codebeamer.
• Familiar with Docker, Podman, and containerization pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive and self-driven.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and performant code/test artifacts.
• Experience with verification and simulation tools/environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding the features from design diagrams/sequence flows and develop the test scripts for E2E Gery box/white box testing.
• Develop simulations /services in Shell/Python code for E2E testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
• Validate E2E system behaviour involving multiple components in the functional chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage through manual and automated testing.
• Analyze logs and develop tools/parsers for log analysis.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Ensure quality through effective defect analysis and regression testing.
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines and code quality improvement.
