Software Technologist - UI Developer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
UI Developer with 47 years of expertise in building responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, UI/UX implementation, and front-end best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces for web applications.
- Convert UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into functional, pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Build reusable components using modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry standards.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Resolve UI issues, debug problems, and ensure smooth user experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 47 years of experience in front-end/UI development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jasper (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience in modern frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Filament
- Expertise in CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material UI).
- Strong understanding of Responsive Design, Cross-browser compatibility, and Web Accessibility (WCAG).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Git, build tools (Webpack, Vite, Gulp), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of performance optimization and browser rendering mechanisms.
How We Work Together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
