Roles and Responsibilities:
- Architect and design end-to-end software solutions for energy market management, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and system scalability.
- Translate energy market processes (e.g., bidding, dispatch, settlement, balancing, forecasting) into robust functional and technical solution designs.
- Lead solution definition workshops, working with market operators, utilities, and internal stakeholders to define system behavior and data flows.
- Develop and maintain solution blueprints, interface definitions, and integration strategies between market management, trading, and grid systems (EMS, SCADA, ETRM, etc.).
- Proficiency in solution architecture frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, regulators, and technology partners to drive business growth.
- Identify new market opportunities for advanced energy market software solutions.
- Work towards revenue growth and own revenue targets through solution offerings and consulting services.
Skills Required:
Strong Understanding in:
- Wholesale energy market structures, power trading, power procurement (e.g., Day-Ahead, Real-Time, Ancillary Services).
- Market clearing and settlement algorithms.
- Regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO/RTO markets, balancing markets, capacity markets).
- Designing solutions in cloud/hyperscaler platforms.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering
