We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Software Quality Senior Engineer with proven hands-on experience in Manual and Automated testing. You will be joining a top notch and highly motivated team of DevOps engineers who thrive on end-to-end ownership of entire product life cycle starting from design to deployment to operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Authors test plans and executes test cases and testing methodology for manual and automated tests.
- Understands and adheres to delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase.
- Contribute to test automation framework and activities through knowledge of coding/programming in current languages.
- Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluates existing processes. Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
- General understanding of business environment. Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups.
- Implementation, and maintenance of a test environment.
- Demonstrated skill with developing appropriate test methodologies. Fully competent in the use of necessary tools and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions with the functional & domain knowledge
- Ability to collaborate effectively within the team and across other cross-functional teams
Experience And Skills Needed
Required Skills:
- 5+ years hands-on expertise in QE Planning and Testing
- 2-3 years hands-on expertise in test automation (UI and API) with tools like Playwright (preferred) , Test Caf, BDD Protractor, Postman, Java.
- Good exposure to testing Web-based applications
- Ability to understand the requirements and provide effective test artifacts and Solutions
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Good understanding of development methodologies with Agile Scrum/SAFE Agile
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure or any Cloud platforms
- Any CI/CD tool, pipelines knowledge Gitlab/Jenkins
Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
