We are looking for a hands on Software Test Engineer with strong core testing fundamentals and experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal engineer should be capable of writing automation code aligned with the test automation framework and following the guidance of senior engineers.
Although our current environment primarily uses C# and MSTest, we value versatility. You should be comfortable working with any modern programming language, adapting quickly to new technology stacks, and leveraging AI powered tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Understand requirements, user flows, and system behavior to design effective test scenarios.
- Create detailed test cases, test data, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Execute tests for UI, API, backend services, and end to end workflows.
Automation Engineering
- Write clean, maintainable automation scripts based on prescribed automation architecture, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Extend and maintain existing automation frameworks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure high quality code with proper exception handling, assertions, reporting, and reusability.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps experience is a plus).
Quality Ownership
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear root cause analysis.
- Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure timely resolution and retest.
- Validate fixes and ensure no regressions in existing functionalities.
- Participate in test coverage reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross functional teams—developers, product owners, senior QA engineers.
- Provide clear status updates, risk assessments, and testing insights.
- Follow Agile/Scrum practices: sprint planning, grooming, daily standups, retrospectives.
AI Driven Productivity
- Use GitHub Copilot and similar AI tools to improve speed, reduce repetitive effort, and enhance code quality.
- Stay updated on new AI capabilities that can accelerate testing and automation delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
- Strong understanding of core testing concepts: test design techniques, SDLC/STLC, types of testing, defect lifecycle, test data management, etc.
