Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Backend Testing, API Testing, and Mobile Application Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans across web, backend, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct hands-on API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Test backend services and validate API responses, business logic, data integrity, and integrations.
• Perform mobile application testing across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to identifying potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
• Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure existing functionality remains stable.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve product quality and testing processes.
• Contribute to building and maintaining QA processes, test documentation, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing
• Hands-on experience in API Testing and Backend Testing.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and JSON.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Good understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL/database testing.
• Exposure to performance or load testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and basic debugging/log analysis.
