The software sector faces persistent challenges with prolonged release timelines and defect-laden products, primarily driven by antiquated testing approaches. Conventional QA methodologies, including those employing rudimentary automation, consistently fail to identify critical defects during early development phases, resulting in expensive postponements and dissatisfied end users. Industry data indicates that more than 60% of software defects surface after product launch, with quality failures imposing an annual cost exceeding $2 trillion on the global software industry. The push toward accelerated, dependable software delivery necessitates a fundamental transformation in quality assurance strategy.
IgniteTech is pioneering this transformation through the comprehensive integration of GenAI capabilities across all stages of the QA lifecycle. By leveraging artificial intelligence to replicate user interactions, construct sophisticated test scenarios, and evaluate defect patterns, we achieve expedited releases with reduced bug counts. Becoming part of our team positions you at the leading edge of innovation, where AI eliminates operational inefficiencies and forecasts potential failures before they materialize.
This position diverges from conventional QA roles. Those seeking traditional environments centered on manual test execution or routine automation scripting will find this opportunity unsuitable. In this role, you will assume ownership of designing and advancing AI-powered test automation architectures, implement predictive analytics to surface latent risks, and contribute directly to redefining software quality standards. You will function as the engineer behind adaptable, scalable solutions tailored to contemporary development demands, not as a participant in rigid, legacy procedures. If this aligns with the challenge you have been seeking, submit your application today to influence the trajectory of software development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and sustain AI-driven test automation frameworks that produce test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation processes
- Apply GenAI technologies to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement
- Model user interactions, stress scenarios, and boundary conditions to detect potential failures before they reach end users
Software Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product release cycles and minimize product defects
Basic Requirements
- AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code initially and subsequently employ AI tools for verification or refinement, rather than beginning with AI, then this role is not suitable for you)
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a QA automation capacity, with demonstrated experience testing AI-based products
- Strong command of Selenium and proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
- Hands-on professional experience utilizing AI tools to automate quality assurance workflows
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Proven experience managing and leading QA testing teams
