About us:

We are a fast-growing product-based startup building scalable web applications using Node.js, NestJS, React.js, and Python. As our product approaches production, we're looking for a QA Engineer to ensure quality, performance, scalability, and reliability before release.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Perform Manual Testing of web applications and REST APIs.

·      Design and execute test cases for Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and End-to-End testing.

·      Validate APIs using Postman and verify data using SQL/MongoDB.

·      Report, track, and verify defects using Jira.

·      Conduct Performance, Load, and Stress Testing using tools like JMeter, k6, Locust, or Gatling.

·      Simulate 1,000+ concurrent users and analyze application behavior under heavy traffic.

·      Monitor response time, throughput, CPU, memory, and overall system performance.

·      Collaborate with developers to identify performance bottlenecks and improve application stability.

·      Ensure the application is production-ready before every release.

Required Skills

·      1–2 years of experience in Software Testing/QA.

·      Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and the software testing lifecycle.

·      Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, API Testing (Postman), and SQL/MongoDB validation.

·      Experience with Load & Performance Testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust, or Gatling).

·      Familiarity with Jira, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodology.

·      Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) is a plus.

·      Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Technology Exposure

Experience testing applications built with Node.js, NestJS, React.js, and Python will be an added advantage.

Qualification
