Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently in Functional, Automation and performance engineering of the the product and features in the group.
- Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and data/scripts for load and perfromance for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, load, performance etc.).
- Execute test cases, report defects, and scripts to ensure the software meets quality and performance standards.
- Identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborate with the leads, development team to resolve issues.
- Creating, Organizing, and managing Test Automation and load test Resources.
- Learn and use testing tools and frameworks for test automation and performance, where applicable.
- Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test results, defect reports and performance reports
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure the software's quality and reliability.
- Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
- Adherence to Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to quality assurance and testing best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest testing techniques, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidate having 2-4 years of experience in QA/ QA Automation role in a product company or in Performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS model/cloud-delivered application testing.
- Must have experience on any public (AWS/AZURE/GCP) or private Cloud platform.
- Strong experience of Docker containers/ Kubernetes/ CICD pipeline as well as working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins.
- Sound knowledge with Databases, Elastic search queries.
- Experience with Test and defect management tools.
- Sound knowledge with Databases, Elastic search queries.
- Excellent analytical and program-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter, and highly motivated.
- Work in a dynamic environment and have the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Hands on experience of functional UI and API automation of SaaS application.
- Knowledge performance testing tools jmeter and monitoring tools like Grafana, AppDynamics
