Who We Are Looking For:
Molex is seeking a dynamic Software Technical Project Manager to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market. You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our design teams.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors or master's in engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the SW Project Management of electronic assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation of firmware for embedded communication devices.
- perform the planning of software project priorities, timelines and deliverables based on requirements, schedule, resources, and overall project priorities.
- Discuss requirements and defects with the customer and plan for execution.
- Perform error management tasks to bring the product to market-readiness.
- Support the testing and certification teams.
- Regularly report the status of the software project to the overall program management. Very actively highlight potential problems and risks to ensure a timely mitigation.
- Maintain the system overview to ensure a seamless development and integration of all CAN and diagnosis components also in cooperation with our suppliers.
What You Will Need:
Required:
- 8y+ experience in the development and management of software projects for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive industry
- very good leadership skills in an intercultural environment
- good understanding of embedded systems development
- knowledge of formal process and software quality standards such as SPICE, CMMI, ISO16949
- deep knowledge of software and systems development models and strategies such as the V-Model, Agile Software development, Scrum
- critical thinking and problem solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Polarion or any other Project Management tool
- PMP or Equivalent certifications.
- Fundamentals in automotive SPICE and ISO26262,
- Knowledge in Qi technology of the WPC, inductive systems, and proximity detection
- Basic German language skills
