Software Programmer (.Net Core, Web Api, SQL)

The Business Innovation team in India is responsible for managing and enhancing Sales and Accounting-related applications, leveraging cutting-edge backend technologies to drive business efficiency and innovation.

Tech Stack & Tools

Backend Technologies:

• .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API
• C#, MVC, Entity Framework Core
• SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS
• RESTful API design and development
• Security best practices in API development
• Version control with Git

Tools & Frameworks:

• Visual Studio
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Jira, TFS, Git
• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using .NET Core.
• Implement efficient and secure database solutions using SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, triggers).
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for ORM and data access.
• Follow best practices to ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
• Conduct peer code reviews and maintain clean, testable code.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with supervisors and stakeholders at both India and U.S. offices.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and participate in ongoing enhancements.

Candidate Profile:

• 35 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Strong understanding of .NET Core, C#, and REST API development.
• Solid experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Open to travel for U.S.-based training or projects (preferred).
