Experience: 10+ Years

Key Experience required:

1) 10+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development and delivery, specifically within In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) or Instrument Cluster systems.

2) Proven experience in Android development within an automotive context.

3) Experience managing distributed, multi-cultural development teams across different time zones is highly preferred.

4) Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements

gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

5) Strong practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools, including Jira.

6) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software project management role, demonstrating

successful project execution and delivery.

7) Proficient in project management principles and practices for the execution of automotive software development projects, including risk management, resource allocation, and budget control.

8) Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems (e.g., C, C++, Java) and experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).

9) Familiarity with standard design techniques using UML tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody).

10) Experience with software configuration management tools (e.g., Git).

11) Proven ability to work effectively as a team player with excellent communication (written and

verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with all levels of a global,

matrixed organization.

12) Proven experience working directly with Japanese Automotive OEMs and understanding their specific development lifecycles.

13) Japanese language proficiency is a significant advantage.
