Role Summary

We are looking for an Envizom Platform Manager to own platform operations, reliability, releases, and customer deployments across:

1. Envizom Cloud (Global SaaS) – multi-tenant, continuously evolving

2. Envizom Local Deployments – customer-specific on-prem/private cloud

instances with controlled updates and stricter governance

This role bridges product operations, engineering execution, DevOps reliability,

Security posture, and Deployment Governance.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Reliability

● Monitor uptime, latency, ingestion gaps, and service reliability.

● Manage incident response, escalation workflows, and postmortems.

● Ensure robust backups, restores, database maintenance, and cost controls.

Release & Change Management

● Run release trains for cloud, manage staged rollouts, and maintain rollback plans.

● Own version control discipline across services and maintain release traceability.

Deployment Execution (Local + Cloud)

● Execute and validate deployments with customer IT/OT teams.

● Ensure local deployments are packaged, documented, repeatable, and upgradeable.

Integrations & Data Pipelines

● Manage inbound pipelines (MQTT/HTTPS/API) and outbound integrations (reports, exports, dashboards, customer systems).

● Support standard connectivity protocols where applicable.

Eligibility & Requirements

Education

● B.Tech/B.E/M.E in Computer Science, IT.

Experience

● 3–5 years in platform operations, SaaS deployments, DevOps/SRE, or enterprise software delivery.

● Experience managing both cloud SaaS and customer-specific deployments (on-prem/private cloud).

Must-Have Skills

● Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, time-series data, and reliability principles.

● Working knowledge of:

○ Docker / Containers

○ Linux, Networking, Reverse proxies (NGINX), TLS, SQL

○ Postgres and time-series storage patterns (Influx-like concepts helpful)

○ Monitoring/observability (metrics/logs/traces)

● Solid documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Good-to-Have

● IoT data pipelines (MQTT brokers, device telemetry)

● Role-based access control patterns and audit logging

● Experience with regulated deployments (data residency / privacy requirements)
