Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager - Full-stack, you'll lead a team of engineers to design, build, and scale our platform. You'll drive technical excellence across our web and mobile stack while fostering innovation in local commerce technology.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Architect and oversee development of full-stack solutions using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and Go (Gin)
- Lead frontend development with React.js, Next.js, and React Native
- Design scalable microservices and APIs (REST/gRPC)
- Optimize cloud-native applications on GCP/AWS
Team Management:
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
- Establish engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring)
- Drive technical decision-making and architecture reviews
Strategic Initiatives:
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (GenAI, vector DBs)
- Collaborate with product on roadmap planning
- Improve system reliability and performance (SLOs/SLIs)
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience with 2+ years in engineering management
- Expertise in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and/or Go (Gin)
- Strong frontend skills (React.js, Next.js, React Native)
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and Kubernetes
- Deep knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of shipping complex systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with GenAI/ML applications
- Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, Kafka
- Contributions to open-source projects
