The Manager of Software Engineering within the Beckman Coulter Diagnostics CIT business is

responsible for leading teams of dedicated agile software engineers who would be responsible for development of Remisol & Next generation middleware products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead software development teams to deliver high-quality medical software, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining fast-paced delivery
• Manage, mentor and develop team members to increase their skills, support their development and ensure the achievement of the quality and delivery goals
• Drive software development and testing strategies by overseeing architecture, design, test protocol creation, and execution, leveraging state-of-the-art engineering practices to foster innovation, ensure timely issue resolution, and deliver robust, compliant solutions
• Work closely with QA, project management, and other stakeholders to synchronize priorities, maintain backlog, identify opportunities for process improvement, and drive enhancements for greater efficiency.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience, including 3+ years leading people
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in software development life cycle i.e. being involved in development and verification (OOP concepts, SQL, Automated testing, Privacy & Security)
• Advanced experience in developing strong teams, strategically deploy resources, enable a positive team culture and work with cross-functional/remote teams (stake holders localized in Europe & US)
• Proficient in driving AI initiatives within software development teams, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and to improve team efficiency.
• Advanced Experience with configuration management tools like GIT, JIRA, ADO etc. Understanding software development processes lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test) under ISO 13485/9000/27001/ FDA standards.
