Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in building and maintaining data platform.
- Experience with databases and performance troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of observability products (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, OTel etc.).

In this role, you will empower users to detect, understand, and optimize their databases through an easy, AI-powered experience. You will use AI/ML to provide zero-admin database management for enterprise users and developers. You will also deliver AI-assisted journeys for developer and database admin personas, including intelligent agents to monitor and troubleshoot the performance, health, and security of all Google Cloud Platform Databases.
Additionally, you will help users manage their apps through Cloud Assist integrations. You will enable users to deploy and troubleshoot applications with one-click integrations that simplify the complexities of database and service layers.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver innovative products in the Database Intelligence Platform team to all Google Cloud Platform (GCP) wide Databases (DB's).
- Provide thought leadership and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality and delivery of Data platform, AI Agents, MCP servers related initiatives.
- Work closely with the team, engage in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leads across all DB teams in GCP (i.e. Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Bigtable, FireStore, MemoryStore, Spanner) and ensure alignment on technical direction.
