Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and operate secure cloud platform services and software that meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications
  • Implement front-end solutions using React, TypeScript
  • Develop backend applications using JavaScript, Python, and SQL databases
  • Use AI in your daily work to ramp up efficiency and roll out AI capabilities into existing reporting platform solution
  • Demonstrate experience with the full development life cycle for large-scale software products, including extensive knowledge of service-oriented architectures, design patterns, data, and web services
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers and offshore/global teams
  • Understand product, project, and consumer priorities and follow Agile methodologies to deliver features within the specified timeline
  • Independently perform coding and unit testing, and assist/mentor team members as needed, including conducting code reviews
  • Adhere to code quality standards, development best practices, and deliver defect-free code
  • Partner with the business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end-to-end solutions
  • Practice agile solution delivery and influence teams towards engineering best practices, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and everything-as-code
  • Understand performance parameters, debug, fix application performance issues, and address/resolve operations tickets within guided SLAs
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile/lean development practices
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments and architecture, preferably Azure or GCP
  • Experience in automation of CI/CD and source control systems such as Git
  • Hands-on experience with Javascript, React js, SQL Database, Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub
  • Proficient engineering experience in building infrastructure using code (Terraform) and repeatable designs
  • Proficient use of AI tools for developers
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Python and a growth mindset toward mastering API development practices.
