Software Engineer Lead Analyst
Position Overview
The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Analyst, which is a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive our software development efforts in creating high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will understand systems requirements, produce clean code, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop within full technology stack
- Be part of a fast moving team, working with the latest tools and open source technologies
- Use advanced, distributed technologies to process, store, and quickly retrieve large volumes of data
- Work on a development team using agile methodologies
- Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Write clean code to support project delivery – on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members at the scrum team and Agile Release Train levels to deliver features and user stories.
- Collaborate with program and business stakeholders to understand the origin and reasoning behind requirements and identify key capabilities to ensure successful product delivery.
- Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and support the pursuit of business development opportunities.
- Understand established architectural decisions, CIGNA technical standards, governance processes, and defined software delivery methodologies.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying container-based microservices development on AWS
- Experience in leading technical teams with proven delivery success (IC and Lead role – 3 members team min)
- Thorough knowledge of REST API design and trade-offs
- We prefer Polyglot programmers who have worked in and are comfortable with multiple programming languages. (3-5 yrs worked only Golang with Intermediate experience is accepted)
- Knowledge of Golang is must have.
- Hands-on coding skills is a must
- Ability to debug code and review other team members code is a must
- Working knowledge of using, tuning, and best practices in AWS including (recent 1-2 projects in AWS)
- Security ( IAM roles and policies)
- Application orchestration (Docker, EKS)
- Data storage (S3, DynamoDB, and RDS)
- Experience with Agile software development methodology and understands SAFe Agile framework and principles.(good to have)
Additional Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in Healthcare, Insurance and/or Pharmacy systems a plus.
- Knowledge of FHIR specifications is a good-to-have
