AWS / Python Developer - Software Engineering lead Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY:

Develop software solutions for one of the Behavioral Health and Care Solutions Delivery teams. This individual will be working on several of the largest Technology initiatives for Evernorth targeted at revolutionizing Health Services and Healthcare Delivery system in the United States. The focus of the work is to continue to enhance Evernorth's market winning capabilities in the Behavioral Health and Care Solutions space. The Technology strategy is completely aligned to our business strategy and the candidate will be able to influence technology / business direction within a world class Delivery Vertical. The solution focuses on enabling this change through the use of the latest technologies and development techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploying and developing AWS cloud applications and services end to end
• AWS cloud experience with some of the core services – S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, Boto3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, Glue, EC2, IAM, VPC.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of developing fast API's using python
• Experience with Security Concepts (e.g. Encryption, Identity, etc.).
• Knowledge of AWS technology stack and solution patterns
• Experience in software development phases including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process-based applications
• Experience developing with containers (e.g. Docker, EKS, OpenShift, etc.).
• Complete detailed peer code reviews.
• Core code production for AWS Infrastructure using Terraform
• Write effective, scalable code
• Design, develop, test and maintain complex software solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Back-end Engineering; 5-8 years experience with Python framework programing language and AWS boto3
• 5+ years of experience with AWS Development and Cloud Architecture
• 5+ Years experience in Application development and implementation of Python-based programs on Cloud platform using AWS Services
• Must be an independent problem solver who can evaluate a situation and build solution options
• Good understanding of JSON, XML, Data Structures
• Efficient in Scripting language such as shell script, python
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages ​such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

• eKnowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environment
• sUnderstanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicatio
