Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microservices Software Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of microservices architecture, Java, Spring Boot and mobile technologies. As a Software Engineering Manager, he/ she will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient solutions that align with our business objectives of the commerce platform.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement microservices-based solutions that are scalable, resilient, and high-performing.
Define and enforce best practices for microservices development, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
Possess a strong command of Java and Spring Boot technologies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and product owners, to ensure successful implementation of microservices solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in microservices architecture, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
Implement and enforce security measures within microservices architecture to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues within the microservices environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to microservices architecture.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for microservices architecture, including design documents, technical specifications, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Microservices Architect with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot.
In-depth understanding of microservices design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with API design and implementation using RESTful services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
