Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineering Analyst (24 years experience) with deep expertise in both Java and Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications, leveraging advanced skills in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and Python (FAST APIs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Python
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
- Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing and code reviews
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver high-impact features
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in Java and Python ecosystems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 24 years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Python
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and Python (FAST APIs)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for serverless application development
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
Work Location & Hours:
Hybrid (11:30AM to 8:30PM IST)
