Software Engineer

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for major projects, providing functional and QA expertise and supporting the team throughout the project lifecycle.

For major projects, actively involved in test design, test execution, defect tracking, and overall QA coordination.

Design and review test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data based on business and functional requirements, ensuring adequate test coverage.

Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

Identify, log, track, retest, and close defects while coordinating with Development and Business teams for timely resolution.

Prepare and share Daily Status Reports (DSR) covering testing progress, execution status, defects, risks, blockers, and dependencies with relevant stakeholders.

Work as an Individual Contributor for Change Requests (CRs), independently managing QA activities from test planning through execution, defect management, regression, and closure.

Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders for requirement clarification and defect resolution.

Provide support to junior QA team members by guiding them on requirements, test design, execution, defect management, and project processes.

Review testing deliverables and provide functional guidance to ensure quality and completeness.

Support UAT activities and production-related validation as required.

Support knowledge sharing and contribute to improving QA processes and testing practices.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Take ownership of assigned testing activities and ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines.
