Job Roles & Responsibilities

Swiggy's Engineering team powers India's largest on-demand convenience platform, building reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems that redefine how millions of Indians access food, groceries, and everyday essentials.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems using Golang, ensuring seamless integration across our restaurant, logistics, and hyperlocal platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features that enhance customer and partner experiences at scale.

• Build and scale backend services using Golang.

Must-have

• 2–4 years of backend development experience with Golang (or strong willingness to learn Go).
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building APIs / microservices.
• Understanding of scalable systems and distributed architecture

Good-to-have

• Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
