Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure high availability.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate them into the development process.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-11 years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API design principles.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
