Job Description

  • Design and develop Data Plane features for SDN targeted at large enterprise customers.
  • Debug and resolve software issues in high-performance, scalable deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (Control and Configuration planes) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize SDN performance in distributed, cloud-based software architectures.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking problems including packet loss, memory leaks, system crashes, and scaling/performance issues.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies and adopt new software development tools.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing new features and fixing bugs on complex networking products.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong network software design capabilities, systems programming, and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Expertise in L2 (EVPN, VLAN, VXLAN) and L3 (eBGP, iBGP, MP-BGP, MPLS) networking protocols.
  • Experience with Kernel and DPDK Forwarding Plane, tunnels (MPLSoUDP, MPLSoGRE, VXLAN).
  • Familiarity with XMPP, BGP, iBGP, NetConf, and EBPF.
  • Understanding of enterprise cloud network architecture; Kubernetes deployment experience is a plus.
