About the Role

We are seeking a .NET Software Engineer (25 years experience) to help develop and maintain our enterprise Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform, and its associated automation and integration engine.

Our PSA platform is designed to govern service delivery operations, project execution, time tracking, and billing logic for professional service firms.

You will work directly with the product architecture team to build features across the platform including workflow orchestration, authorization logic, integrations, and operational reporting.

This role is ideal for developers who enjoy working on complex business systems, backend architecture, and real-world operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development

• Design and implement backend features using ASP.NET Core and C#
• Build APIs and business logic supporting Stratym's operational modules (services, projects, tasks, billing)
• Contribute to the development of our automation and integration platform

System Integration

• Implement integrations with external platforms (CRM, accounting systems, messaging services)
• Develop secure API endpoints and webhook processing logic
• Support idempotent request handling and event-driven integrations

Data and Architecture

• Work with SQL Server to design queries, stored procedures, and data models
• Implement business rules, authorization logic, and workflow state management
• Ensure high reliability, auditability, and operational correctness

Platform Enhancements

• Participate in feature development for:
• workflow orchestration
• time tracking and billing logic
• permissions and authorization
• automation scenarios

Quality and Maintainability

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Help improve platform performance and reliability

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• 25 years experience in .NET development
• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with SQL Server
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with Entity Framework or Dapper
• Knowledge of JavaScript / front-end frameworks (basic level acceptable)

Software Engineering

• Understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience working with enterprise business applications
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience with Git-based version control

Preferred Skills

• Experience building workflow or automation systems
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with authentication / authorization systems
• Experience working with Azure or cloud services
• Exposure to event-driven architectures
