Software Engineer

KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge metrology and inspection products for the semiconductor industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a developing software professional to assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications, writing clean, maintainable code, and collaborating with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or C++.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues under the guidance of more experienced developers.
  • Contribute to documentation and support the maintenance of existing systems.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.

Skills

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Exposure to development tools such as Git, IDEs, and debugging tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree.
