About the Role
At WFYI Technology, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer Intern to join our growing engineering and digital team. In this role, you will support the development and enhancement of innovative software applications and digital platforms while collaborating closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern development practices, real-world projects, and a strong learning environment to help you grow both technically and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and digital platforms
- Assist with coding, debugging, and participating in code reviews
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development workflows
- Document technical processes, features, and project updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with debugging and code review practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Exposure to academic or real-world software development projects
- Experience using collaborative development tools
- Interest in media technology, digital platforms, or audience-focused products
