Role Description

This is a full-time remote Software Engineer Intern position. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, particularly focusing on full stack web development and programming tasks. Responsibilities include drafting efficient code, brainstorming with the team, debugging, testing, and ensuring software quality. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and contribute to product innovation.

Requirements

• Core microservices for Scheduling, Consultation, Billing
• REST and GraphQL APIs (AppSync)
• PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and strong ACID data guarantees
• AWS Lambda-based serverless backend (Python)
• Secure clinical data validation using Pydantic
• Agentic healthcare flows automated reminders, re-tests, escalations
• Building agents using LangGraph (LangChain's state-machine framework)
• Interfacing backend services with the WhatsApp assistant for care automation
• Encryption, consent flows, and ABDM-aligned standards
• Front end development

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming.
• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Ability to problem-solve, learn quickly, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, FHIR standards, or AI-based tools is a plus.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
