LOCATION: Noida, UP

TYPE: Full time, Office based position

Cancard Inc and Advaa Health are seeking an experienced, engaged, and hands-on, Software Engineering Interns with solid training in fundamentals of software development, with basic working knowledge in back-end technologies like Java (Spring Boot), NodeJS, Python and front-end Technologies like Angular, and React.

This position is a unique opportunity for fresh engineers to contribute to development, testing and deployment of multiple AI based products for global markets, like Canada, US, India and UAE. Ideal candidates should be engineers who are passionate about solving critical healthcare challenges to learn and grow within the company. The role offers pathway to full time engineering roles in AI, back-end and front-end development, cloud infrastructure management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist engineers with the design, development, testing, and analysis of projects
  • Conduct research and gather data to support engineering solutions
  • Create and update technical documentation, reports, or drawings
  • Help troubleshoot and test systems, software, or prototypes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
  • Follow safety, quality, and company standards

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic programming experience in at least one of the following:
  • Java (with some exposure to Spring Boot)
  • Node.js (JavaScript for backend, such as Express)
  • Python (using Flask or Django)
  • Familiarity with at least one front-end framework or library, such as:
  • React
  • Vue
  • Angular
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Page structure and layout
  • Responsive design principles
  • Handling user interactions (clicks, forms, basic events)
  • Understanding of fundamental programming concepts such as:
  • Variables, loops, functions, and classes
  • Writing clean and readable code
  • Familiarity with the idea of APIs and how the backend communicates with the frontend
  • Some experience using Git for version control
  • Comfortable running a frontend app locally (npm, yarn, or similar tools)
  • Willingness to learn testing, accessibility, and performance best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates and 4th year students are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals including RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL and NoSQL), ORMs, and caching strategies.
