We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern (Fullstack - Python, Django, React) to join the passionate Codingal team. Please note that this is a full-time internship position, so apply only if you can give your 100%. Roles & Responsibilities:

Backend Development

• Develop cloud-based Python Django software products
• Participate in architectural, design and product discussions
• Design and create RESTful APIs
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Deploy Python applications into production

Frontend Development:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the Codingal website
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Build reusable code and UI components for web applications
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and SEO
• Implement responsive design principles and CSS animations

General Responsibilities:

• Comply with coding standards and technical design
• Active participation in troubleshooting, debugging, and updating the current live system
• Work closely with developers, designers, and analysts in an agile environment
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end design decisions

Requirements:

Must Have

• 2+ years experience of Python coding skills
• 2+ years hands-on experience with the Django framework
• Solid database skills in a relational database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of how to build and use RESTful APIs
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js
• Strong knowledge of version control (Git, etc.)
• Experience deploying Python applications into production
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and CSS animations

Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge is a plus
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a fast-paced startup environment
