Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development
Design and build interactive, visually attractive, and user-friendly dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Transform complex business requirements into technical specifications and meaningful visualizations.
Implement best practices for Data Storytelling to ensure reports are easy to interpret and actionable for non-technical users.
Data Modeling & DAX
Develop and maintain robust tabular data models (Star Schema/Snowflake) to ensure high performance.
Write complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) measures, calculated columns, and queries to support dynamic reporting needs (e.g., Year-over-Year growth, Moving Averages, Dynamic Row Level Security).
Optimize report performance to ensure fast load times for large datasets.
Data Transformation (ETL)
Use Power Query (M language) to clean, transform, and model data from various sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, Cloud Data Warehouses).
Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure upstream data pipelines are structured correctly for reporting consumption.
Administration & Deployment
Manage the Power BI Service environment, including workspaces, apps, and datasets.
Configure and maintain Data Gateways for automated report refreshing.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data governance and that users only see data relevant to their role.
