Software Engineer in Test

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
u2022 At least 1 to 3 years of Experience in Software Testing.

u2022 Performs manual and automated test cases as outlined in the test plans created by senior team members, ensuring all tests are conducted accurately and thoroughly.
u2022 Records detailed test results, including any defects or anomalies encountered during testing, and report these findings to the senior testing team for further analysis.
u2022 Conducts regression tests on new software builds to ensure recent changes do not negatively impact existing functionality, following guidelines provided by senior testers.
u2022 Enters identified defects into the bug tracking system, providing clear and concise descriptions, and update the status of defects as they are addressed and resolved.
u2022 Conducts re-tests on software following bug fixes to confirm that issues have been successfully resolved and that no new issues have been introduced, ensuring the stability and quality of the software.
u2022 Assists in configuring and maintaining testing environments as per the specifications provided by senior team members, ensuring the environments are ready for testing activities.
u2022 Helps maintain and review test documentation, including updating test cases and scripts based on feedback from senior testers and project requirements, ensuring all documents are current and accurate.
u2022 Attends review sessions for test plans to understand testing objectives and contribute to discussions with insights from execution experience, enhancing the overall testing strategy.
u2022 Assists in the execution and maintenance of automated test scripts, running automated tests and reporting any issues encountered to senior team members, ensuring continuous improvement and reliability of test processes.
u2022 Works with developers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues found during testing, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.

Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication , Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
