About the Role - Software Engineer in Test

• As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality through rigorous testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to streamline the testing process.
• Validate system behavior and business requirements through API testing.
• Debug issues, analyze test results, and assist in delivering functionally correct products.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Create, review, and maintain automated test cases for new and existing functionalities.
• Perform API, UI, and performance testing for end-to-end product quality.
• Build automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing frameworks for new feature rollouts.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects using server-side logs and debugging tools.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and share testing strategies.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-8 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA and automation frameworks like Rest Assured, Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, and Appium.
• Strong knowledge of Java, data structures, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured and Java.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, UNIX/Linux systems.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Good understanding of debugging issues and checking logs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
