Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in Java, Python and API Development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience working with one or more generative AI models - Gemini, Open AI during coursework/projects, research.
  • Experience in developing, building, and deploying solutions and working with business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in one or more of the following domains: supply chain, customer products, customer sales.
  • Experience with Web Applications, Front-End Development, Angular.

In this role, you will collaborate with US based engineers and business teams as the rest of the team is located in Seattle and Sunnyvale regions.

You will join the team to manage and refine an AI-based software catalog, providing internal Google stakeholders with the tools to author and curate a database of machine and rack configurations. This role is essential for improving the forecasting and procurement of compute, storage, and machine learning capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Build and contribute to a new Software Engineering (SWE) team in Bengaluru, taking responsibility for the team's charter.
  • Partner with US SWE team and business teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes including customer ordering.
  • Advocate the use of Generative AI for coding and developer productivity.
  • Build agentic AI agents/flows for Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) business.
  • Mentor and build a team taking on a integrated charter.
