Service Engineering is building services and user-centric web apps to automate and streamline the use of Seismic. As a software engineer on our geographically distributed team you will design, test, and frequently ship high quality code spanning a wide range of projects. We are looking for generalists comfortable with lots of moving pieces, learning new technologies and systems, and experience applying feedback to rapidly iterate.

  • Design, implement, and ship end-to-end solutions that integrate diverse systems, technologies, and APIs across Seismic's platform. Partner closely with Solution Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and Platform Engineering to deliver tools that delight both internal and external users. Craft intuitive user experiences through modern front-end frameworks, paired with reliable and scalable back-end services. Drive automation, insight generation, and performance improvements across Seismic's service ecosystem. Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile ceremonies to continuously raise the engineering bar.
  • Proven expertise in C# and .NET Core, with strong object-oriented design principles and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. Hands-on experience building responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactA keen eye for user-centric design and the ability to turn feedback

into elegant, practical solutions.

Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g., OpenAI or similar LLMs and

AI coding tools GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claud Code) and curiosity

About Integrating Them Into Real-world Workflows.

Strong debugging skills and the tenacity to resolve complex issues

across the full stack.

Solid understanding of software reliability, security, and system

design best practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills you can work

effectively with globally distributed teams and occasionally with

customers.

3+ years of software development experience
