We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platforms Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for analytics and data processing.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytics platforms.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and business partners.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in big data and analytics.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Familiarity with writing unit tests
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team
  • Ability to focus on promptly addressing customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
