Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the design and implementation and test of software for use within medical systems.
Key Responsibility Area:
Design and implementation of software (on component or module level)-understand and communicate consequences of your design on the architecture and influence design specification.
Design software based on design specifications in accordance, to ensure that the software will be reliable, efficient, user-friendly, easy to maintain and meet the (medical) quality and coding standards.
Implement class, unit integration and unit tests for the designed modules or components.
Contribute to the quality and maintainability of our software stack which has to be maintained for a long time.
Perform work in-line with processes/quality system.
Contributing to the unit interfaces (SW), in close consultation with relevant disciplines.
Initiatives and active participation for continuous improvement and Agile / Safe / Scrum process.
Key Skills/Competencies
Bachelor/Master of Engineering in the field of Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication or equivalent
At least 5+ years experience in software design and development
Strong working experience of C++
Experience object-oriented programming, GIT / ADS / SOLID principles and (unit) testing
Experience with software development methodologies such as agile (SAFE), scrum and the V-model
Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, test, and integration
Ability to analyze the root cause of a problem and deliver evidence for the root cause and it side effects.
Ability to find existing (legacy) code a positive challenge.
Ability to think in risks for the proposed solution (including where to solve it)

Interest in development of software in a controlled regulated environment
Experience in working in a healthcare product development environment is an advantage
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
