Role Expectations

Must Have

Experience working with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter

Experience managing REST APIs

Knowledge of Linux commands for setting up web applications

Strong understanding of PHP and Laravel 5+ or CodeIgniter

Solid understanding of application design using PHP frameworks

Practical experience with MVC architecture

Experience with Memcache or Redis and caching

Proficiency in Git

Experience with MongoDB and MySQL

Good to Have

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases

Proficiency in HTML and jQuery

Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities

Ability to clearly communicate progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and technical issues

Ability to document development processes, architecture, and standard components

Experience creating CI/CD pipelines

Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.)

Experience with React.js is a plus

Additional Skills

Experience in API design, TDD, and best practices

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams

Knowledge of deployment using Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and containerized applications

Ability to optimize applications for speed and scalability

Active participation in the full application lifecycle

Collaboration with other developers

Ability to write clean, reusable, high-quality code for future use

Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with best practices

Ensuring smooth integration of systems
