Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Interactive Game Client Development, The Software Engineer Interactive (Frontend) is responsible for developing and maintaining interactive casino game clients that run on desktop and mobile platforms. Working in an Agile/SCRUM environment, this role focuses on implementing UI, animations, and client-side game logic under guidance from senior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain game client features using company coding standards
- Implement UI elements, animations, and basic game logic
- Debug and fix client-side issues using standard debugging tools
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Test client features using manual and/or automated tests
- Collaborate with backend engineers, artists, designers, and QA
- Support post-release bug fixes and minor enhancements
- Maintain software by adding features or redesigning existing ones using new technologies
- Create and maintain documentation for the Products
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of TypeScript and Pixi.js
- Understanding of 2D animation tools, Spine experience would be beneficial
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience using Bug-tracking tools and source code control
- Experience of automated build tools and CDN technologies
- Must be a team player and be able to work in a customer-oriented & fast-paced environment
- Gaming experience, a plus
