Software Engineer- Backend

Job Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Interactive Game Client Development, The Software Engineer I – Interactive (Backend) supports the development and maintenance of game engines and backend services that power interactive casino games. This role focuses on implementing well-defined features and learning engine architecture under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Implement backend features using defined designs and standards
• Write clean, maintainable server-side code
• Debug and fix backend issues with guidance
• Write basic unit tests and support integration testing
• Collaborate with client engineers to support feature integration
• Assist with post-release maintenance and bug fixes

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar preferred or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in C# or similar backend language
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools
• Interest in backend systems or game engines
• Must be a team player and be able to work in a customer-oriented & fast-paced environment
• Gaming experience, a plus
