MathWorks is seeking an engineer with experience in cellular network modelling to develop tools for 5G, 5G NTN and upcoming 6G systems. You will leverage your software development skills to design and develop world-class modeling and simulation software, participate in high-visibility projects, leverage new technologies, and participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cellular network modelling tools in MATLAB.
  • Track 3GPP releases to add new features for simulating wireless RAN.
  • Understand customer workflows and industry practices for cellular network modelling.
  • Contribute to all stages of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Work closely with other Software Developers, Quality Engineers, Documentation Writers, and Customer Facing Engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience developing any of the following at Layer 1 or Layer 2 within the 5G RAN or Core network.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB and Object Oriented Programming.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with colleagues worldwide.
