Responsibilities
Job Description Summary:
- Focus on front-end coding as your primary responsibility, implementing user-facing features with attention to detail and quality.
- Work closely with the Product team to help develop solutions that address customer needs, ensuring a balance between usability and technical feasibility.
- Participate in team discussions, planning, and decision-making to improve workflows and foster collaboration.
- Break down feature requirements into manageable tasks, contributing to clear technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and enhance existing front-end functionality, ensuring code quality through unit and integration testing under guidance.
- Assist in keeping the codebase updated by adopting modern front-end practices, tools, and methodologies.
Skills And Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Proficiency in TypeScript best practices is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright.
- A strong drive to learn and take on new challenges, with the ability to turn ideas into reality by taking ownership and following through on initiatives.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Design, and Product, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Skilled in writing and maintaining detailed documentation to share knowledge and provide clarity on processes and implementations.
- Experience in software development best practices, including unit and integration testing.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of testing cloud-based SaaS applications and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket (or other Git servers), and Jenkins.
- Experience in continuous refactoring efforts to ensure the codebase remains up to date with modern methodologies and technologies.
- Understands how to use AI tools to speed up development and automate tasks, with the ability to create effective pre-context and prompts.
