Job Description

We are looking for a manager to manage the OCI DNS Control Plane as we scale up our service to support OCI business growth and deliver customer feature asks.


You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires agility, adapting as priorities shift, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions while growing the team. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. You should be comfortable working with architects, product management, and senior technical talent. You must be adept in both oral and written communications aimed at engineers, senior leadership, customers, partners, and other Internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience of growing and leading successful teams delivering large and complex technical projects from concept to production
  • Sound understanding and demonstrable experience building and operating large scale global distributed systems
  • Sound understanding of cloud architecture patterns, networking fundamentals, observability, and operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable Project Management experience in delivering large cross functional projects
  • Grow andlead an engineering team of 8-10 engineers
  • Lead projects that span multiple domains within CI/CD organization and with teams outside of Developer tools such as security, compliance etc.
  • Own the end-to-end service design, project planning, delivery.
  • Cultivate best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
  • Drive operational excellence for the service.
  • Collaborate with other leaders on developing and delivering product roadmaps, operational improvements, and critical cross functional customer commitments
  • Participate in critical projects and project status communication at the senior leadership level
  • Participate in a Manager On-call rotation for production support.
