We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Software Development Manager to join our Support Platform Engineering Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers in designing, building, and optimizing next-generation support infrastructure and platforms.
  • Drive and oversee the implementation of AI-driven solutions to accelerate automation and innovation in our support platform services.
  • Leverage hands-on experience and guide the team in modern technologies-Vite, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Kotlin-to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.
  • Deliver products and platforms optimized for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring seamless integration, performance, and security.
  • Champion agile methodologies, fostering adaptability, iterative development, and close collaboration across global teams.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact projects that enhance scalability, reliability, and automation in Oracle's customer support ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Support Operations, and cross-functional engineering groups to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Mentor, grow, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a culture of agility, inclusivity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive long-term platform vision, manage schedules, resource allocation, and risk, ensuring timely delivery of critical features.
  • Uphold and promote Oracle's commitment to security, privacy, and compliance in all aspects of software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading software engineering teams-preferably within cloud, SaaS, or customer support platform domains.
  • Proven experience implementing AI-driven solutions in software platforms.
  • Hands-on development and management experience with Vite, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Kotlin.
  • Demonstrated success developing for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Strong background in applying agile processes: Scrum, Kanban, or related methodologies.
  • Experience developing and operating large-scale, distributed cloud systems, leveraging CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
  • Outstanding collaboration, leadership, and communication skills with a track record of managing globally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with SaaS support ecosystems, analytics, and automation solutions is a strong plus.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
