Software Development Manager

Key Deliverables:

• Drive hiring, coaching, and development plans for Software Development Engineers to align with tech strategy
• Build and scale high-performance software systems with strong architectural and process foundations
• Own technical innovation and engineering practice improvement across backend services and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure product delivery through stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and collaborative execution

Role Responsibilities:

• Mentor and develop SDEs through structured 1:1s, feedback, and capability planning
• Enable agile team autonomy while providing direction during technical or delivery challenges
• Own tech strategy adoption including demos, white papers, and compliance reviews
• Act as escalation point for delivery risks, manage cross-team dependencies, and communicate with leadership
