Amazon Finance Technology team is seeking a Software Development Manager to re-design and scale customer-facing sophisticated Financial Transaction Calculation systems to handle some of the largest in Amazon allocations and reserves. We are looking to execute thousands of formulas on millions of records in minutes. Build an innovative end-to-end data traceability with AI-driven anomaly detection and AI Agents for anomaly resolution. Agentic experience is to also help customers to configure and optimize calculation logic. This role is cross-functional and will involve working directly with global financial customers, and multiple engineering teams to define how to re-design and integrate systems with the centralized platform for Financial Transactions.

About The Team
We are building a new team in Delhi to help us scale and re-design complex financial calculations. This role involves collaboration with several other Software Development and Data engineering teams, Science team, and to build a close partnership with our Accounting and Finance customers in India, China, and EMEA.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
